CONTRACT SPECIALIST
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
1) Interpreting and ensuring that contract actions are in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures; 2) Reviewing procurement requests to assure clarity, adequacy, and completeness; 3) Auditing technical reports and prepares cost and/or price analysis in preparation for contract negotiations; 4) Conducting conferences with contractors to provide information, and clarification of standard and special provisions of contracts; and 5) Performing the full range of pre and post award contractual actions as required in the procurement process.
