SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Performing both pre-award and post-award contracting functions relating to planning, development, advertisement, award, and administration of contracts; 2) Providing guidance and mentoring junior contract specialist; 3) Evaluating the reasonableness of the contractor's proposed cost/price for use in preparing for complex negotiations; 4) Interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific contracting issues; and 5) Reviewing/assessing contract documentation to ensure adequate pre-award and post-award contract documentation is complete, accurate and included in contract files. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
