Leads and is responsiblefor the design of FTI's technical security architecture. Advises on the global technical securityarchitecture and provides technical input across all IT service portfolios.
Works with the FTI Enterprise Information Security andPrivacy team to establish and document requirements and provide technicalsolutions and/or alternatives that meet the requirements.
Identifies security requirements by researching andanalyzing needs, the firm's objectives and organizational capabilities.
Develops designs for the security architecture byunderstanding the firm's security, compliance and privacy strategies;envisioning the architectural scheme and formalizing into referencearchitectures that can be implemented and integrated into the FTI network
Independent development of written technical designs andsolutions that respond to Information Security and Privacy policies, standardsand documented requirements
Independent development of architectural and workflowdiagrams depicting the technical architecture and processes needed to meetsolution recommendations
Independently create, monitor and manage project plans usingPMBOK methodology
Assess, monitor and recommend improvements to the globalarchitecture based on improving practitioner productivity, reducing risk, andbalancing costs
Defines and documents the business and technicalarchitecture for solutions, ensuring that they match customer requirements.
Documents externally defined business and technicalrequirements as they pertain to security, privacy and compliance
Defines the approved reference architecture that is used toprovide the blueprint for delivered solutions
Documents solutions that respond to requirements withdefensible explanations of how and why certain technologies and methodologieswere chosen
Documents the expected service level(s) for the solution inaccordance with defined requirements
Forecasts and estimates various performance, capacity andoperational thresholds based on vendor data, research and development, andtesting / piloting to ensure the ability to meet the established service level
Defines the tasks, processes and procedures necessary toimplement, maintain support, and monitor the proposed solution
Documents and presents architecture for new systems to leadershipand/or clients
Conceives, designs, and oversees the strategy andimplementation of enterprise-wide systems development.
Collaborates with the Enterprise Information Security andPrivacy team to develop global architecture and maturity standards. Monitors and reports on adherence andrecommends improvements.
Performs technology assessments to enhance and/or supportnew and existing IT systems
Assists the Enterprise Security and Privacy team inperformance of gap analysis to identify architectural risks in the enterpriseand provides recommendations for remediation
Performs research and development to improve FTI'stechnology infrastructure and service delivery
Works with the Enterprise Security and Privacy team, andothers, to develop roadmaps for the next generation technology solutions forassigned portfolio's and develops plans, methodologies and timelines to getthere
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves chronic and complexIT Problems
Performs analysis to determine the root cause
Utilizes an evidentiary based approach to troubleshootingand documenting the troubleshooting effort, root cause and recommendations
Reviews, audits and evaluates IT solutions and designs
Reviews proposed designs for appropriate compliance withestablished standards
Proactively identifies technical and architectural risks,commenting and/or providing alternatives for improvement
Reviews to ensure use of best practices
Additional Responsibilities:
May directly supervise other staff in the completion ofprojects and assigned tasks.
Responsible for providing high quality project managementservices on all assignments with little to no involvement from management.
Assists the Managing Director in performing design, analysisand recommendation for a wide variety of IT systems and technologies
Provides IT systems administration and architecturedevelopment including monitoring and capacity planning.
Remains up to date on current and new technologies todetermine relevancy and applicability
Generates and maintains metrics for trending.
Analyzes and maintains performance data to monitor usage andoptimization of the architecture.
Responsible for the execution and maintenance of:
Operational Calendars
Use and compliance with FTI's Change Management ControlProcess
Use and compliance with the Systems Development Life Cycle(SDLC) standards when developing solutions
Provides input to and manages all budgetary expenses as itrelates to assigned projects.
Proactively engages management as necessary to resolveissues and ensure awareness of potential dangers to the environment.
Daily time entry to record billable and non-billable time.
Support other IT staff with open and unresolved issues.
Provides on-call support via cell-phone 24 x 7.
Take on responsibilities as a backup or alternate for other IT staff.
Cover and resolve any outstanding Service Desk related issues in an effort to help all IT members resolve tickets as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Physical labor from time to time, which may include moving equipment, furniture, etc.
10+ Years' experience in the design and operation of securityarchitecture
Experience designing and implementing security technologies, including encryption and access controls / monitoring
High level certification in relevant technology areas
Project Management Experience
Four Year College Degree or equivalent job experience
Current information security certifications, includingCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP / CISSP-ISSAP)
Working knowledge of industry security frameworks (e.g.ISO2700x, NIST, HIPAA, and Cloud Security Alliance)
Project Management Certification (Project ManagementProfessional)
Excellent communication skills and problem solving
Demonstrated ability to work independently andcross-functionally in a matrixed environment
Ability to manage the details of compliance with policies,standards and industry frameworks
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with senior business management and peers.
Strong business and technical process design and documentation skills.
Possesses a high level of technical/functional expertise and knowledge.
Industry expertise with best practices, standards, and technology.
Understands and applies policies and procedures.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
