AQuate II has an opportunity, contingent upon contract award, for a Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic team in Annapolis, MD.

Role and Responsibilities
Operates video cameras and editing equipment in the MSC. Offers clients suggestions on the most economical use of audiovisual communication to meet the needs of a project. Determines requirements for
Requested shoots
Packs necessary equipment
Arranges for proper lighting and sound recording in the studio or on-location
Evaluates and selects scenes in terms of values and continuity
Trims segments to the specified length
Matches the scenes with the appropriate audio
Reassembles segments in a sequence that provides the customer with requested product
Labels/delivers tapes of completed projects to the service librarian for inclusion in the audio/visual library.
Must be trained and experienced in operating video editing equipment, linear and non-linear systems. Will maintain records to document all materials and services expended in his/her area of responsibility.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
