WSP-Parsons Brinckerhoff has an immediate opening in its Annapolis, Maryland office for a Senior Water Resources Engineer with expertise in project management and the oversight of water resource projects including; ecosystem restoration assessment and design, drainage and erosion control design and construction, stormwater BMP design and construction, Maryland permitting, water resources assessment, preparation of watershed management plans and studies , and geomorphic and water quality monitoring.
Position Description:
Serve as project manager for County's watershed restoration capital improvement projects
Work as an extension of County staff, at a program office within close proximity to County offices
Provide technical oversight and management of third party vendors including design consultants and contractors
Obtain all permits and rights-of-ways needed for construction
Provide project updates to County staff through project management tools and meetings
Communicate with the public on project schedules and impacts to the public, through the County's Public Relations office or through public meetings
Provide oversight on project budgets
Job Requirements
Education Required:
Bachelors degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Civil, Water Resources or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Experience/Skills Required:
Minimum 7 years' experience in a water resource or environmental engineering practice area
Experience and working knowledge of the following:
Watershed assessment and analysis, and ecological restoration
Maryland stormwater, erosion control and waterway construction regulations
Knowledge of Maryland State Highway Administration and other Maryland County Government design and construction standards and specifications
Chesapeake Bay TMDL
H&H analysis using TR-55, TR-20, HEC-RAS, HY-8
GIS analysis
Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
Affiliations with professional societies and active industry and community involvement are highly desirable

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
