Solution Lead

Summary:
As a member of the newly created Virtual Products group, the Solution Lead will be responsible for helping to conceptualize and implement a system/infrastructure tailored to operationalize IDSS virtual products, with a specific focus on licensed products. To complement this best practices-based infrastructure, the Solution Lead will develop a set of licensing standards that product teams will follow to avoid creating multiple solutions and customer experiences for similar offerings. The Solution Lead will then work alongside various product development teams to provide technical assistance so that they can integrate licensing into IDSS product designs according to the established standards. The goal will be to allow for a ?plug and play? type of experience for new product introductions to allow faster deployment, lower internal costs and uncompromised quality.
The Solution Lead will be the technical point of contact within the Virtual Product team for IDSS development teams and will act as an SME for licensing implementation. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that licensing is implemented as consistently as possible across all IDSS product lines and will spearhead the effort to educate internal stakeholders on best practices in this area. He/she will ensure that ?plug and play? system functionality is maintained over time by implementing updates/enhancements in response to evolving requirements.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
- BS in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Services), or equivalent work experience in a related field, is required
- MBA a plus
Experience:
- 7 years of experience in Software, Licensing or Cloud Service related industries, including relevant roles in companies of 1500 employees or more
- Experience in setting up licensing-related process flows from concept to delivery in a software/cloud environment; understanding of how companies design licensed products, as well as how the back office systems need to be set up to enable efficient order processing and fulfillment
- 3-5 years of experience performing pre-sale activities such as completing RFP responses, delivering POCs, and product demos
- 3 years of experience developing tools to facilitate deployment of Sentinel-based licensing technologies
- Proven track record of working in a consulting role supporting Enterprise customers with complex technical solutions.
- Experience working with customers in the information security field is a plus

- Broad IT knowledge, e.g. experience with client/server applications, network architecture, cloud/virtual environments, protocols and ports under Windows and Linux.
- Programming desirable in either C/C , Java, .NET
- Experience with any or all of the following technologies is an advantage:
o Web technologies: Apache Tomcat, Java Servlets, Web services (SOAP, RESTful)
o Workflow and architecture of back-office systems (like ERP and CRM, billing systems, webshops etc.)
o Database technologies like Microsoft SQL
o Understanding of software security, current hacking techniques and application vulnerability
- Good communication skills - presentation, verbal, and written
- Comfortable with being an SME who can provide internal training materials and sessions
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal customers
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Creation/Maintenance of Licensing Guidelines & Infrastructure (25%)
- Contribute to the creation of a set of guidelines & design standards for licensed products to be used by IDSS development teams to ensure smooth product launch and consistent customer experience
- Assist with creation of a back office infrastructure for licensed products based on business requirements and best practices
- Provide a ?plug and play? experience for new product introductions
- Create and maintain standardized linkages/connectors between various systems and products
- Ensure that internal and external security requirements are met
- Integrate automation and self-service functionality as much as possible
- Recommend updates/enhancements to infrastructure and licensing standards as necessary in response to evolving market requirements, changes in product offering and general advances in technology
Solution Development (50%)
- Understand the 6-24 month roadmap for IDSS licensed products and identify/recommend changes to the Virtual Products / licensing strategy to support this
- Work as a ?hands on? consultant to IDSS product development teams, helping them to implement licensing solutions according to newly created IDSS standards
- Develop and demonstrate POC (proofs of concept) / code samples for various use cases
- Work with Virtual Products team to design and implement ?connectors? or other tools to facilitate deployment of Sentinel-based licensing technologies
- Ensure that virtual product design guidelines are being followed and that product-specific system customizations are avoided as much as possible; product designs are to support the ?plug and play? philosophy
- Act as a SME for licensing solutions and train/educate internal stakeholders as necessary
- Work with business stakeholders to prioritize licensing-related projects and ensure on-time delivery of requirements as agreed
- Work closely with NPI to understand new product requirements and flag any potential problems or gaps in licensing approach
- Document licensing-related Operational process flows from concept to delivery in a software/cloud environment; demonstrate best-in-class models for licensed product offerings
Production Support/Process Improvement (15%)
- Provide support for day-to-day production related issues or customer escalations
- Participate in problem solving exercises and resolution of sustaining product or process issues
- Lead licensing-related improvement projects

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
