Summary
The aeroderivative Gas Turbine Technician will perform hands-on field service work on aeroderivative General Electric Turbines LM2500, LM6000 and LMS100. The work includes but is not limited to borescope inspections, blade work, combustion/hot section replacements,
engine swaps, and other types of maintenance tasks. Prospective candidates must have had previous proven experience on LM aero turbines
NOTE. Prospective candidates should reside near a major international airport within the US central region, strongly preferred candidates residing in the Houston/SE Texas area. Relocation will be evaluated on a candidate by candidate basis. Extensive travel
is required with this position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Will work as part of a team during, change outs, maintenance, and repair of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines (LM2500, LM6000, lms100)
+ Use hand tools and small power tools to conduct general maintenance of GE Aeroderivative Gas Turbines
+ Troubleshoot complicated mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch, variable speed turbines
+ Help in all areas of site as directed by manager or lead supervisor
+ Perform all mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to as directed
+ Work effectively as part of a team of technicians
+ Process timesheets, expense reports, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) forms, and job reports in a timely manner

+ Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work siteKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Fluent in English
+ Must have experience doing field work within the power generation industry
+ Sound experience working with GE Aeroderivative Gas Turbines ( lm2500, lm6000, Lms100)
+ Able to understand and implement technical procedures
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
+ Strong computer skillsPHYSICAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must be able and willing to work weekly schedules that are not uniform on a day-to-day basis
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Must be able to climb ladders and stepsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
+ A minimum of an Associate?s degree in aircraft engine or turbine technology or equivalent military training
+ 2+ years of work as a mechanical technician on aircraft engines, aero-derivative engines or other types of turbine technology
+ Must be willing to travel on short notice and for long periods of time as needed

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
