Provide technical leadership to the Portal/Social Solution Services Program, and serve as a technical resource\. Responsible for work requiring knowledge of multiple application server environments, architectural design and technical sales support\.
Primary Duties Include:
? Promoting and selling assigned Portal/Social Program by:
\- Conducting customer calls and on\-site visits with Sirius sales personnel;
\- Creating and consulting with Program Manager on SOW?s and estimates;
? Building assigned Social/Portal Program by:
\- Providing technical leadership in the 2\-3 core competencies and related offerings of assigned Social/Portal Program;
\- Conducting research and development work targeted to create frameworks, utilities, or best practices to enhance the efficiency and quality of the Social/Portal Program?s development efforts;
\- Cataloguing Social/Portal Program?s existing intellectual property \(IP\), determining strategic areas for IP development \(including input into training and education plans for program specialists\), and evangelizing the use of Program IP by Program development teams;
? Developing assigned Social/Portal Program?s team by conducting meetings and training for developers to build and enhance skills in core competency areas;
? Overseeing technical delivery for assigned Social/Portal Program by:
\- Understanding the business driving client technologies;
\- Participating in technical requirements gathering and solution architecture for clients;
\- Serving as a technical escalation point for Lead Solutions Specialists and Senior Solutions Specialists;
? Providing solutions architecture, requirements gathering, and application design to our clients via services delivery, including, but not limited to:
\- Assisting clients to develop or express an organizational strategy for accomplishing strategic technology goals;
\- Assisting clients to identify appropriate technologies for accomplishing their strategic technology goals;
\- Developing technical and conceptual specifications in support of the overall application design;
Full\-time position that will require travel to company meetings at company offices and off\-site client meetings/work, as needed, throughout the U\.S\. Telecommuting/remote living allowed from anywhere in the U\.S\.
The minimum requirements for the position of Solutions Architect ? Portal/Social are a Bachelor?s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of seven \(7\) years experience in a Senior Software Developer/Solution Architect or similar role, specializing in IBM WebSphere Portal, including experience with IBM Web Content Management version 7\.0 or later, and IBM Connections version 4\.0 or later\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
