Primary Responsibilities
?Read blueprints and perform calculations to obtain plan numbers for Dimensional Control activities
?Operate all survey instruments with a high degree of proficiency
?Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
?Calculate radial stakeouts
?Search for section corners, property irons, and survey points
?Responsible for keeping accurate records of time, attendance, and disciplinary action given
Qualifications
?Minimum of an AAS or Degree from two year Technical College
?Minimum of two to four years? experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field in place of education
?Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations (area, volume, circumference, proportion, percentage)
?Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams
?Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity
?Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills
?Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team
?Committed to working safe and getting the job done right the first time
?Ability to travel and relocate as required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
