Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a residential plumbing Inside Sales Representative in Annapolis, MD. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion dollar organization, this is the position for you!
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will:
- Work hand-in-hand with Outside Sales associates by performing the administrative functions that ensure our customer‚ s needs are being met.
- Support the Outside Sales team by ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate order processing.
- Updating customer contracts, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse, and answer sales calls for general information.
A college degree is preferred for this position, but comparable industry knowledge and experience would also be considered.
A successful associate will be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere, in addition to having the following:
- 2-3 years experience in our industry, preferred
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Pleasant personality for phone sales
- Ambition to succeed
- General computer skills
- Self Motivator
- Ability to multi-task
- Enthusiasm, courtesy and articulation
- Ability to learn quickly

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
