Rockwell Collins IMS is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Corporate Headquarters located in Annapolis, MD. This position will analyze and report monthly P&L (Profit & Loss) for a Global Business Unit with annual revenue of approx $118M. The Senior Manager, Finance will:
o Plan and forecast revenue, update Income Statements, analyze cash flow and forecasts, and perform overhead analysis.
o Manage Monthly, Annual and 5 Year Global Roll Up of Region's Revenue and Cost with ability to understand and communicate variances and trends.
o Perform financial modeling including revenue/sales, direct labor & costs, headcount, rates of return.
o Provide financial support and guidance to senior management and corporate finance.
o Provide accounting guidance on capital expenditures and track monthly expenditures.
o Update Business Plans and support new development or acquisition initiatives.
o The ability to create and understand commercial and government pricing models and strategies.
o Identify and propose solutions to potential problems in order to mitigate future P&L exposure as well as compile monthly Risk and Opportunities for the Business Unit.
o Ensure accurate monthly revenue recognition for Fixed Price and Service contracts.
o Attend project level reviews and provide guidance to Project Managers during preliminary revenue cycle, EAC (Estimates at Completion) templates and EAC reviews.
o Research and resolve project level financial issues independently with line personnel.
o Support audits, report bookings and calculate backlog.

Qualifications
Required Experience:
o Five (5) or more years of related financial experience.
o Two (2) or more years of financial or billing experience for a large, government contractor.
o Possess an understanding of industry revenue model and business drivers.
o Possess some accounting experience necessary primarily in reconciling billings and unbilled to contract and revenue.
o Must be accountable, appreciate teamwork and deadline-driven work schedule
o Possess pricing experience is mandatory
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience; identified skills and experience.
To be successful in this position, the candidate will accomplish the following objectives:
o Understand corporate and business unit deliverables within the first three months.
o P&L turn-around of three days with accuracy of forecasting within the first four months and on an on-going basis.
o Cash flow projections within +/- 5% within the first six months and on an on-going basis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
