Overview of Job Function:
The Sales Director SIS North America located remotely will be responsible for leading Verint?s Situational Intelligence Solutions (SIS) overall sales strategy and execution for the US and Canada. The Sales Director will develop a comprehensive Go-To-Market plan that supports realization of the Business Unit?s vision of becoming the Industry Benchmark in Mission Critical Situational Intelligence Solutions. With a focus on Solution Selling to key decision makers, the plan will leverage both direct and indirect channels as well as key partnerships to develop new, strategic level opportunities and grow existing accounts. The Sales Director will develop, manage, mentor and guide a team of Sales Managers and/or Account Executives. The Sales Director will be assigned a sales quota of bookings responsibility for SIS NA and will be responsible to meet and exceed those targets in support of the BU?s business objectives.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
+ Develop an overall sales and go-to-market strategy for North America in support of the Business Units?s objectives.
+ Directly supervise a team of Sales Managers and/or Account Executives and provide coaching and guidance while performing all duties inherent of a manager including recruitment, retention, professional development and performance management.
+ Lead and drive regional team to execute the Company?s sales strategies and achieve established sales quota in their assigned region by identifying business opportunities through target account prospecting.
+ Guide and mentor the team to thoroughly assess customer needs and using both industry and Verint product knowledge to provide effective sales presentations/product demonstrations to prospective customer management and differentiate Verint from our competition.
+ Maintain effective relationships with established customers by monitoring overall install base, and drive the sales team to develop strategies to maximize revenue opportunities through expansions and upgrades and additional systems.
+ Ensure that the sales team forecasts and updates sales activity via
+ Provide the sales management team with accurate and timely reporting of activities including weekly and monthly sales forecasts, the status of the sales pipeline and results of prospecting activities.
+ Maintain a thorough on-going knowledge of Verint products and technology, as well as industry trends.
+ Provide ad hoc reports and performs assigned projects as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
+ Has a minimum of 8 years management experience with a progressive increase of responsibility, coupled with 12+ years overall experience selling complex technology solutions.
+ Comprehensive experience with in-direct sales through integrators, leveraging a strong network of relationships.
+ Knowledge of emerging market needs in the field of video-based security technologies including information technology, local and wide area networks, wireless devices, and software analytics.
+ Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills and ability to interface with all levels of an organization.
+ Proven capability to successfully penetrate into end users and call on senior level organizational contacts.
+ A consultative leadership and sales style with experience in proposal preparation and superior presentation skills.
+ Strong closing techniques with a proven history of high dollar sales success within the security space.
+ Strong sense of business ethics and personal integrity

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
