Rockwell Collins IMS in Annapolis, MD is seeking Flight Operations Team Lead. IMS ARINCDirect is a complete 24 hours per day / 7 days per week flight planning, messaging, and customer service provider, exclusively for business aviation.
The ARINCDirect service and the Flight Operations Center are built on a foundation of customer service and teamwork. ARINCDirect strives to create a cooperative atmosphere where knowledge is shared amongst team members and provides our Flight Coordinators with the tools, information, and empowerment they need to effectively satisfy Customer requests.
The Operations Team Lead will fill a leadership role in the ARINCDirect Flight Operation Center. In this role the Lead Flight Coordinator will continue to work in the role and handle tasks of an ARINCDirect Flight Coordinator but will also be responsible for the following:
Overseeing the day to day operation and task queue work assuring quality service for our customers.
Acting as the first point of escalation for customer issues and complaints.
Troubleshooting feedback and assuring quick response times for customers.
Participating in hiring, training and development of new Flight Coordinators.
Acting as a point of contact for non-routine situations.
Providing feedback for performance evaluations.
Coordinating problem resolution with Flight Support Supervisors.
Monitoring timeliness and escalate coverage issues when supervisors are not on shift.
This position requires flexible coverage of multiple shifts in support of 24/7 operations, including weekends,holidays, and emergency leave.

Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 year experience as an ARINCDirect Flight Coordinator.
Minimum of 3 years of applicable aviation related experience.
Strong knowledge of General Flight Support including; flight planning, aircraft performance and aviation weather.
Strong functional knowledge of International Filing Process.
Strong functional knowledge of Flight Following procedures.
Education Experience:
Associates degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of an associate's degree three years of related experience; identified skills and experience.
Bachelor's Degree or Pilot certificate or similar aviation-related experience strongly preferred.
FAA Dispatch Certificate.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
