We are recruiting to fill openings for GE OEM trained Field Service Technical Advisors to travel to customer sites and support our customers with their installation, maintenance, and warranty work with industrial power generation rotating equipment, primarily
Steam Turbines and some Gas Turbines. We have openings for already GE OEM trained Candidates who have experience on GE Fitchburg, Lynn and Schenectady Steam Turbines and Frame sized Gas Turbines
These positions are for work in the US and require candidates that are US citizen or legal residents with a current US Green Card. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Some of the physical requirements of this position are traveling /
field service job that requires you to be able to be away from home for extended periods of time, the ability to lift safely a minimum of 50 pounds, perform physical work related activities, and wear personal safety protection equipment (PPE). Employees must
be prepared to work in different shifts, as required, to safely complete the assignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Provide customers with technical direction and support on GE Steam Turbines and GE Frame sized Gas Turbines.
o Takes direction from GE Management to implement Upgrades and perform inspections on turbines and is responsible for directing lower level craft labor to perform the Upgrades/ Inspections.
o Signs off on all changes/Inspections performed.
o Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.
o Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to Safety and Quality.
o Monitor site safety during project execution
o Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site
o Provide Parts numbers and quantities of additional items using GE Electronic Tools
o Supply customers with proper Turbine drawings by using GE Electronic Tools
o Perform walk-downs during installation/ Maintenance to ensure that the customer?s contractors are working properly.
o Perform aftermarket upgrades that need to be performed at the site level.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o GE OEM trained on Steam Or Gas Turbines
o BS Engineering degree EE, ME, CE, CS, IE, etc.
o Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of Steam Turbines, Aero derivative Gas Turbine Operation & Controlling Parameters.
o In order to provide direction to others, this position requires technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment.
o Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required with up to 100% travel.
o Technical/University degree or qualifying experience.
o Competent on Computer Skills (needed for E-tools, Communications & Reports)
o Ability to manage and lead a Work Force.
o Ability to communicate and write effectively.
Additional working knowledge of the below for overall understanding of operation is a plus:
o Electrical circuitry, both AC & DC. A b
o Experience with high voltage controls, protective systems and calibration of IO devices desired. Specifically, Woodward Governor Controls, Bailey Controls, GE Fanuc, GE Mark III, IV, V or VI. Previous experience with controls programming a plus!
o Pipe fitting and tubing experience.
o Previous experience working on GE Steam equipment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
