Senior Engineer (Government)

This position is a Senior Engineer with a specialty of Signal Analysis. The selected candidate have the opportunity to work on a team supporting Engineering Analysis of COTS and GOTS signal processing software. Your primary responsibilities will include analysis of application capabilities and roadmaps, understanding target environments, development of test scenarios, and dissemination of analytic results to customer engineering and operations stakeholders
All candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (CCA not acceptable)
A competitive candidate will have a minimum of 5 years engineering experience in addition to within the last 7 years, a minimum of 5 years' experience in four (4) of these specializations:

  • Signal Analysis

  • Modern Tele-communications System

  • Networks, Telephony Switching System, Communications Systems, Cellular/Personal Communications Systems, TDM/PCM Multiplexing / Modulation /Switching Systems, Packet Switching System, Systems Engineering, Operating Systems or Advanced Protocols.

Additionally within the last 5 years, a minimum of 3 years development, integration, testing, and/or installation experience to include generating system/component specifications, recommending solutions, and preparing and conducting test plans (stand-alone, DT&E, OAT&E) is needed. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership position providing technical supervision to other engineering personnel; solving varied technical/scientific problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule are also required. Candidate must have a strong and recent engineering-level experience with the LOPERS application as well as a strong understanding of CAS, SS7, and other circuit-switched technologies. An expertise using tools and databases such as OCTAVE, CHEWSTICK, and FASCIA is required and additional experience with tools such as CircuitRaptor and SHARK processors is highly desired.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
