With an increase in our Hydroelectric Turbine and Generator work, we have established this recruiting pool for qualified and experienced applicants to apply for consideration. We will be contacting and scheduling interviews for qualified and experienced candidates

The primary responsibility of the Hydroelectric Turbine Mechanic is to safely accomplish the installation, maintenance and repair of the heavy rotating machinery used mainly in hydro driven power generation applications. Turbine Mechanics work closely with
Craft Labor Supervisors, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department to achieve these goals.
These positions are for work in the US and require candidates that are US citizen or legal residents with a current US Green Card. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Some of the physical requirements of this position are traveling /
field service job that requires you to be able to be away from home for extended periods of time, the ability to lift safely a minimum of 50 pounds, perform physical work related activities, and wear personal safety protection equipment (PPE). Employees must
be prepared to work in different shifts, as required, to safely complete the assignment.
Responsibilities will include:
+ Identify all parts of the (hydroelectric) path; lube oil system, seal oil system and hydraulic system of a hydroelectric turbine and/or generator
+ Assemble / Dismantling / Reassemble Hydroelectric and related machinery and equipment
+ Repair and or rebuild of hydroelectric turbines and generators
+ Perform movement of machinery and equipment
+ Perform heavy lift assignments
+ Provide / possess basic minimum tools for a Journeyman, and be able to use them safely.
+ Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs
+ Work unsupervised on any part of a turbine (hydroelectric) and on generators
+ Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
+ Safety compliance to all company and site safety rules and regulations
+ Safely complete all tasks and responsibilities related to the projectPrior Required Experience:
+ A minimum of two years prior experience with hydroelectric turbines that involves heavy lifting / rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment, including ventilating and heating systems, buildingrepairs, and turbines, such as Propeller Type, Francis Type, and Impulse Type
+ Experience handling equipment such as steel rope slings, eyebolts, and other special devices used in the assembly or disassembly of the hydro generator.
+ Must have experience aligning the above equipment or heavy experience with dial indicators/calipers using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
+ Basic safety Certifications
+ Industrial Certification, cards, licenses, etc. a big plus.
+ Pass drug testing and background checks
+ Have reliable transportation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
