Basic qualifications:BS/BA in engineering or equivalent technical discipline
10 years of experience as an engineer in a manufacturing plant. At least 5 years of experience as reliability engineer either working at a site with a mature reliability program, or deploying new reliability programs.
Experience in the following areas is important: Program Management, Project Management, and Change Management.
Prior project engineering experience
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Preferred qualifications:Knowledge of SAP is preferred
Working knowledge of approaches to Change Management such as ADKAR
Working knowledge of continuous improvement concepts desired
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) accreditation desired
Able to interact well with peers and senior/management personnel in scientific, engineering, operational disciplines.
Demonstrated ability to influence and introduce change programs.
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional work teams.

GSK Biopharm in Rockville has an opening for a Senior Reliability Engineer. In this role you will develop and deliver a comprehensive reliability strategy and program based upon a risk mitigation strategy. Core elements shall include establishing maintenance and design best practices, life cycle management, TPM, RCM, implementing predictive technologies, and supporting the physical contamination cause and elimination (PCCE) program at the site. The Senior Reliability Engineer shall be integral to championing strategy to deliver a secure source of supply within supply chain.
Key Responsibilities include:
? Lead the design, development, initiation, deployment, and sustainability of a comprehensive reliability program for the site using best practices (TPM, RCM, life cycle management, autonomous maintenance, predictive maintenance technologies, performance metrics, etc.)
? Support the development of risk management plans to support reduction of physical contamination (PCCE) that will anticipate reliability related and non reliability related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.
? Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include quality, capacity, cost, and regulatory compliance issues.
? While partnering with Facilities Maintenance and Engineering management, professionally and systematically define, design, develop, monitor and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes,
Value added preventative maintenance tasks
Effective utilization of predictive and other non- destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems
? Practical experience in equipment root causes analysis (RCA), root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and failure reporting analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS). Lead risk analysis techniques such as Failure Mode Effect Analysis
? Develops life cycle management plan for the site to ensure continuity of operations. Applies value analysis (i.e. Total Cost of Ownership) to repair/replace, repair/redesign and make/buy decisions
? Provides mechanical technical support to the site engineering teams for both mechanical rotating equipment and mechanical fixed assets (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations, Condition Based Monitoring, Risk Based Inspection , rotating equipment)
? Work with Production to perform analysis of assets including
Asset utilization
Overall equipment effectiveness
Remaining useful life
Other parameters that define operation condition, reliability and costs of assets
? Organize, manage, and accountable for the site reliability program delivery using project management and performance management techniques, reporting to key stakeholders in meetings, participating in an internal regional site community of practice for knowledge sharing and tracking of actions, and participation is external reliability communities of practice.
? Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with GSK Production System (GPS), GSK Global Engineering Standards (GES), and GSK Quality

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
