Senior Ne2rk Systems Engineer (Government)

The selected candidate will work to provide network engineering support to the contract focusing on SIGINT systems inter-connectivity. Someone who has experience with switches, routers, encryption devices, copper and fiber connectivity and protocols is a MUST. Primary responsibilities will include designing, integrating, testing, operating, and maintenance of connecting networks.
All candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (CCA not acceptable), and should be willing to support operational systems after-hours and on a call-in basis.
This position requires: A minimum of 7 years' experience in network design or network security as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience in resolving complex network problems, and operating network analyzers, Wide Area Network (WAN) test equipment, and network simulators. The candidate must also have a minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, terminal servers, and Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers, and a minimum of 4 years' experience with modern LAN/WAN solutions including IP networking - MPLS, QOS, SONET/SDH optical solutions, and serial communications. Protocol support will include, but is not limited to TCP, UDP, DHCP, SSH, NTP, DNS, ARP, ICMP, SCP, and TFTP. A working Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols to include EIGRP, BGP, and more desired would be a plus. A minimum of 4 years' experience with configuration, implementation and sustainment of Firewall and IP or Serial Encryption devices. The ideal candidate should also be able to implement and sustain security solutions for boundary protection using secure methods with knowledge of IPSEC, SSL VPN, Access Authentication Authorization (AAA) and Access Control List (ACL) implementation. It is required that the candidate will have a strong LINUX as well. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification or Certified Design Professional is required and can substitute for 1 year of previous experience. Someone with a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to integrate into an existing technical team comprised of contractors and government customers are required. A BS degree in a technical field is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
