Granite is looking for a qualified contract manager to support power projects in South America. Projects include simple cycle, and combined cycle, gas and steam gas and steam turbine technologies, with many projects likely on a short cycle schedule.
+ Drive customer satisfaction through effective on time execution, and contract compliance.
+ Support the execution of site contract issues from contract finalization through contract close out including reporting, receivables, change order and claim negotiation, and issue resolution.
+ A sense of urgency and customer focused responsiveness.
+ Provide contractual analysis and interpretation on project commercial issues and drive resolution to closure.
+ Provide contractual interpretation, analysis and clarifications to various disciplines at the Site during project execution. Ensure all parties are following contract requirements.
+ Track all delays, costs, damages and scope issues at Site, and advise mitigation plans to the Site Manager and Project Manager.
+ Monitor contractual milestones, review Project Schedule and identify variances to the Site Manager and Project Manager.
+ Create and process delay and claim notifications in a timely manner.
+ Implement Field Change Order process for design modifications, repairs and replacements at Site.
+ Maintain contract management documentation and electronic files, including contemporaneously obtaining and filing back-up documentation for delays, claims, back-charges and rejections.
+ Ensure timely submission of contractual notifications and deliverables.
+ Draft contractual letters, replies and notifications with regard to issues at site.
+ Review all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
+ Review all NCR?s & QSR?s issued at Site.
+ Review Minutes of Meetings for various meetings held at Site.
+ Manage insurance claims with timely notifications and prepare the supporting documentation following damage caused during transit or project works, interface with concerned parties, and ensure timely recovery.
+ Create and maintain Contract Management Tools implemented at Site including Notifications and contractual deliverable tracking list, Delay tracking log, Claims / Back charge log for vendor, partners & customer, Major milestone review log, and Insurance log.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE LEVELS
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent Contract Management or Contract Administration experience (GE experience preferred)
+ Fluent in Spanish and English languages a MUST
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to handle many complex issues concurrently
+ Strong interpersonal and influence skills
+ Ability and willingness to work in Buenos Aires, Argentina
+ Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

+ Technical knowledge of Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine power plant design, installation, commissioning and operation
+ Prior experience in construction, commissioning and/or operation of a power plant and Balance of Plant equipment design
+ Full understanding of project controls, cycles, and logic as it relates to engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operation of a power plant
+ Prior Six Sigma Quality experience
+ Spanish language skill
+ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or equivalent quality certificationOTHER DETAILS

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
