ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The HR Shared Services Operations Leader will report to the Vice President, HR Operations and will work closely with the global HR Leadership team to set the strategic direction of HR Operations Delivery through a global shared service structure. This role will be responsible for the development, implementation and adoption of programs, processes and tools to drive scalability, efficiency and continuous improvement through a shared services model. This leader is responsible for the day to day management of the shared services team and will drive migration and execution of all shared service operations. Additionally, this role will oversee the Employee Relations and Finance functions for the Human Resources team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, implements and administers strategy for Global HR Services which encompasses HR Service Center, HR Finance and Employee Relations functional areas
Directs, plans and manages HR Services teams in accordance with FTI Consulting's strategic goals and direction
Drives development and adoption of global SOPs and delivers HR services, procedures and processes, which are considered value added, measurable, directly tied to company business objectives, and aimed at increasing client satisfaction
Works with the appropriate subject matter experts to create and implement policies where needed
Responsible for maintaining all compliance requirements of HR transactional processes
Works to build HR Service Center team performance and commitments to goals and objectives, while measuring results to improve transactional efficiencies
Ensures there is a positive internal and external working relationship within the HR Services team and with external clients by frequently communicating and soliciting feedback with both parties and by measuring client satisfaction
Oversees the work of and acts as a resource to the Employee Relations Manager
Works with Employee Relations Manager to coordinate training of segment resources on effective processes for management of Level 1 Employee Relations issues
Actively engages in problem/conflict resolution, coaching, counseling, training and employee development
Interacts and works closely with the VP, Global HR Operations to identify process gaps and possible solutions
Works with the VP, Global HR Operations to drive efficiency in process across regions and segments
Identifies additional service gaps, department needs or opportunities for improvement
Develops and implements quality control processes and measures across the HR Operations function
Works closely with other service teams such as Global Mobility, HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits on concerns which relate to and may need to involve the HR Services
Remains up to date on trends and developments within functional areas of expertise, researches and uses best practices benchmarks
Performs other duties as required
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree
8-10 years combined experience in Human Resources, Operations Management or other related role
At least 3 years' experience in a global HR shared service function
Experience managing and reporting metrics including customer satisfaction
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Excellent management skills and ability to organize and plan effectively to meet both short and long range project plans, goals and objectives
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner
Strong leadership capabilities with ability to lead, develop and motivate others in accomplishing goals
Ability to exercise professional judgment and assume responsibility for decisions which have an impact on people, quality of service, and costs
Deals with interpersonal conflict, stressful work conditions by coping in a mature, problem-solving, solutions-oriented manner
Ability to establish credibility and influence key stakeholders at all levels
Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships in a fast paced and dynamic environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
