The Financial Analyst is responsible for the compilation and analysis of financial information for the company, its divisions, and functional departments. The Financial Analyst conducts financial research, reporting, data validation and in-depth analysis through statistical software and company ERP and reporting systems. The Financial Analyst also provides recommendations to improve Smartlink's financial performance and reduce costs while supporting key strategic growth initiatives.

Primary
Responsibilities:

Work with corporate finance on modeling, process controls, trend analysis, and data integrity.

Compile and analyze complex financial information to identify trends, areas of notice, and developments; outline and present findings as necessary and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations, including analysis on the impact to Smartlink's business initiatives.

Implement financial compensation plans including calculation of bonuses and review of all related bonus material for accuracy.

Employ statistical software and spreadsheets to study financial information.

Develop performance reports and metrics for use in long-term, annual, quarterly, and monthly planning.

Project Analysis which includes invoice, revenue, spread, project, and functional cost comparisons.

Develop and implement analysis projects relating to forecasts, budgets, costs, business units performance, and key reporting metrics.

Create, develop and update monthly divisional and business reports.

Analyze how new regulations, policies, and trends may impact the company.

Assist in the continued development of budgeting and financial forecasting, ensuring that practices are efficient, scalable, and in line with the overall goals of the company.

Support of other business divisions and departments.

Other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested.

Job Requirements:

Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to confidently present information.

Excellent time management skills including a commitment to tight deadlines and a strong demonstrated ability to prioritize.

Understanding of contractual requirements and how they translate to project budget/forecasts.

Strong ability to work within a team and also deliver individual results

Positive Attitude and self-motivated

Extensive financial modeling skills.

Familiarity with a variety of reporting software.

Strong desire to learn SAP Business One.

Advanced at MS Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Expert analytical and numeracy skills.

Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.

Education and
Experience:

The ideal candidate will have three years of financial analysis experience.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Pursuing/completed an M.B.A. and/or CPA is an added advantage and highly encouraged.

Travel Requirements:

Minimum travel (Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
