Smartlink is looking to hire a Director of Services for the North Central region. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Services, the Director of Services drives and manages all services projects provided to clients within an assigned market. The Director of Services implements and develops market specific workforce strategies, optimizes current processes, and oversees client relationships and the execution of client needs. The Director of Services manages market specific team members including Program Managers and Project Managers through leadership, support, and vision. The Director of Services will work closely with the executive team to forecast future needs within the market and develop budgeting and cost analysis for all services projects.

Primary
Responsibilities:

Lead and direct all services projects provided to clients within assigned market, typically in a specific geographic area, defined by regional markets, or as needed to accomplish company goals and initiatives.

Develop a team within assigned market through hiring of new talent and development of internal talent and train team members in functional areas of technical wireless network deployment and maintenance consistent with Smartlink policy and procedure.

Direct the day-to-day work of team members through the provision of a structure and articulation of clear and measureable goals.

Translate broader business initiatives into clear team objectives and goals that align appropriately with other teams for efficient, coordinated action.

Develop and implement services workforce strategies, policies, and procedures, and optimize current processes.

Work with team to develop and maintain an accurate budget for each assigned project.

Provide strong financial controls and oversight for all spending within assigned market.

Manage invoicing forecast and approve pricing and contracts for vendors and subcontractors.

Drive profitable mentality throughout the team.

Monitor the progress and results of the team, including outsourced vendors and subcontractors, provide timely and effective feedback, and make tough decisions where appropriate.

Form relationships with strategic partners, vendors, and subcontractors to further promote profitable, efficient, and effective service offerings.

Support sales department in the development/procurement of current and future work projects and the administration of requests for proposals (RFPs) through guidance and technical knowledge.

Assist in the negotiation of customer agreements and approval of associated pricing in coordination with the legal department.

Oversee applicable customer contracts to ensure accurate revenue per project.

Communicate the status of services projects plans and activities to clients and executive services team.

Manage annual, quarterly, weekly, and ad hoc reporting pertaining to services project activity.

Present information and updates on projects, initiatives, and other services subjects to clients, project teams, and executive team as needed.

Job Requirements:

Strong oral and written communication.

Proficient at MS Office.

Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Education and
Experience:

The ideal candidate will have eight years of related experience in a fast paced environment; including experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Travel Requirements:

Extensive travel (>50%) is expected in association with performing this position; travel can be overnight and for extended durations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
