Smartlink is looking to hire an SAP Business One Analyst in Annapolis, MD.
Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, the SAP Business One Analyst is responsible for the solution, service line provision, and deployment of the SAP applications portfolio to Smartlink's user base. This position provides support to system users by identifying efficiency improvements, defining and introducing required changes, providing training and advice on functionality, constraints, and proper operation, and monitoring data quality within the applications. The SAP Business One Analyst continuously investigates and resolves system issues to ensure that all systems, processes, and procedures operate effectively to deliver a fully compliant service that supports Smartlink's business requirements.

Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the review and analysis of business and SAP Business One requirements to obtain a thorough understanding of business needs and requirements.
Identify opportunities for improvement that support the business by developing and designing strategies for enhancing or further leveraging current systems to deliver accurate solutions.
Expeditiously troubleshoot and resolve SAP Business One system issues and communicate solutions to Smartlink's user base; as necessary, devise work-arounds, correct faults, process general or site-specific modifications, update system documentation, manipulate data, and define enhancements.
Provide Smartlink's user base with training and advice on SAP Business One's functionality including the proper operation and constraints of the system.
Support, update, repair, and modify the existing systems to fully meet business specifications including communicating with intelligent embedded software devices; perform systems analysis and functional testing as needed.
Setup and configure SAP Business One modules based on the detail requirement workshops.
Create applications development project schedule as well as task and project completion time estimates.
Perform adequate unit testing of all development work to ensure all requirements have been addressed and all basic functionality works.
Data entry and task completion to support system setup and maintenance.
Provide updates to the Vice President of Information Technology on work in progress, work completed, work planned, and issues potentially impacting the on time completion or quality level of work.
Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
Job Requirements:
Proven knowledge of the design, coding, testing, verification, validation, and support of SAP Business One systems including experience creating custom queries and reports.
In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle.
Strong Microsoft application knowledge and strong skills in Excel; strong knowledge and understanding of SQL preferred.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, including conducting research into systems issues and applications.
Demonstrated leadership skills in systems implementation with a focus on methodology.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge, understanding, and ability to create and maintain thorough technical documentation for a diverse target audience.
Ability to present ideas in both a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Experience working effectively in a team environment, communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure.
Highly self-motivated with a strong demonstrated ability to prioritize, a commitment to tight deadlines, and problem resolution skills.
Strong project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Education and
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have three years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting SAP Business One.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage, but not required.
SAP Business One certifications are an added advantage, but not required.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel (Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
