Smartlink is looking to hire a Sales Support in Annapolis, MD.
Sales Support performs administrative support and organization for the Business Development, Sales, and Recruiting Departments. This position assists with managing lead generation and is responsible for coordinating sales-related details, before and after the sale.
Primary Responsibilities:
Act as the liaison between traveling departmental personnel and internal office staff.
Plan weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales meetings.
Assist with trade show and networking event planning and coordination.
Coordinate travel arrangements.
Track expenses by compiling, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses, as well as forwarding for reimbursement.
Document and maintain current departmental policies and procedures.
Updates managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
Assists with resolving departmental issues by researching data and history, as well as notifying managers of the findings.
Assist with the preparation of quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses for potential and existing clients.
Provides sales vs. projections results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports.
Assist with the preparation of sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and materials.
Maintain the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) by inputting client profile information and updates.
Track sales progress by using the Client Relationship Manager (CRM).
Execute company sponsorships and donations.
Update the website with current sales information including company activities, industry trends, and important job orders.
Maintain professional, ethical, and company standards at all times.
Job Requirements:
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
Strong internet research skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience in problem solving & multi-tasking.
Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Strong sense of urgency related to client services.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
