Training Developer, who is experienced in developing technical training for customers and employees for Energy Products. In this job you will also be responsible for creating individual work plans, meet day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. This job is location in the Downtown area of Houston and contract job for a 12 month project.

Job Description:
Responsible for developing training programs and /modules that align with and support business strategies; assess learning needs and measure effectiveness of training solutions
Develop company-wide instructional training material and communications based on support and enhancement of business strategy and needs assessment results
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create learning content and communications
Gather and understand information, products and services, policies, procedures, systems and skills requiring instruction or development
Develop high-level and detailed content outlines/storyboards to result in computer-based/delivered learning modules, including creating course content at a level appropriate to defined objectives and target audience within quality controlled standards while enhancing content through effective storytelling
Update and maintain published training material and communications
Qualifications:
Two to four years of professional training experience, or equivalent corporate- and plant-related training programs experience preferred
Exceptional Computer Skills, including a minimum of 4 years of experience and skill in using computer software - Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrate knowledge and utilization of adult learning methodology (ADDIE).
Experience developing customized training sessions and learning tools such as job aids, tests, etc. based on learner needs
Preferred e-learning development experience
Preferred experience with Articulate Suite
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Must be able to produce learning content quickly, according to established writing standards and sound instructional design principles
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while still managing individual project content and production
Willingness to seek out and respond to feedback
Understand and respond to quickly changing priorities and business needs
Ability to execute with urgency in a very fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
High level of organizational skills
Strong internal and external customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple projects


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
