Smartlink is looking to hire a Services Coordinator in Annapolis, MD. The Services Coordinator provides administrative support and organization for the Services Department. Reports to VP Services Support.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Track expenses by compiling, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses, as well as forwarding for reimbursement.
Document and maintain current departmental policies and procedures.
Assist with the preparation of quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses for potential and existing clients.
Assist with the preparation of presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and materials.
Coordinate with Marketing on the Services Data Portal.
Act as the liaison between traveling departmental personnel and internal office staff.
Assist with trade show and networking event planning and coordination.
Coordinate travel arrangements.
Assists with resolving departmental issues by researching data and history, as well as notifying managers of the findings.
Maintains the Services Components of the Sales Pipeline Tool.
Maintain professional, ethical, and company standards at all times.
Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, and company activities.
Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and calls.
Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.
Work independently as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the Services Leadership Team, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, and organizing company-wide events.
Job Requirements:
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
Strong internet research skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience in problem solving & multi-tasking.
Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Strong sense of urgency related to client services.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Education and
Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
Three or more years of administrative assistant experience; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Travel Requirements: NoneEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
