Rockwell Collins ARINC's Satellite Services department is seeking a Technical Program Manager located in our Annapolis, MD headquarters office. The Technical Program Manager will:
Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Inmarsat and Iridium satellite service programs supporting the commercial aviation and government/milcom markets.
Interface with the engineering department on internally/externally focused technical matters which include customers and suppliers.
Manage service and capital programs that involve infrastructure-related activities.
Understand all technical aspects of the satellite network architecture and provide recommendations for operating and cost efficiencies.
Assist with customer provisioning and implementation activities and make recommendations for process improvement.
Conduct operational and troubleshooting support for customer aircraft.
Understand the competitive aeronautical satellite services market and introduce technical solutions that affect current/future product offerings.
Function as a subject matter expert on satcom avionic equipment/networks and gather customer requirements for implementing connectivity solutions.
Be responsible for monthly cost reporting, budgeting and projections and brief management on performance, issues, challenges and recommendations during regularly scheduled reviews.
Assist with service business development, proposals, contracts and marketing efforts.
Conduct satellite service briefings for customers and industry events.

Qualifications
Required
Experience:
Candidates must possess eight (8) or more years of aircraft/airline industry experience (e.g. avionics/satellite network engineer, aircraft operations, etc) and have a working knowledge of Inmarsat and Iridium service offerings.
Possess an extensive background in avionic/satellite technologies.
Must have solid program/project management skills and experience.
Possess basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must be detail oriented, works well with others, and has excellent communications skills.
Possess an existing working knowledge of Rockwell Collins ARINC airline services and support systems.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively with external customers, internal technical personnel, and senior management.
Education:
Typically requires BS/BA degree in Engineering, Business, Aviation management or equivalent. PMP certification preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
