The Corporate Technology Services (CTS) Division provides creative, reliable solutions for Rockwell Collins ARINC''s internal and external customers. They provide global services including design, engineering, installation, dispatching, repair, outsourcing and consulting, and project management for a diverse base of network, radio, and applications services supporting information technology systems and networks in industries including aviation, health care, surface transportation, and government.
The Director of Technical Innovation and Security will:
Manage the CTS corporate innovation team, which includes research and oversight for new and upcoming technologies that will enable efficiencies and cost savings.
Manage the architecture and integration with business unit technologies, specifically the InfoSec program and execution for business systems in coordination with our CISO.
Be responsible for the planning and developing of an enterprise information security strategy and best practices in support of the enterprise's information security architecture.
Collaborates with key business and IT Security leaders to develop security and business continuance standards and action plans.
Direct customer facing security audits and tasks to ensure that the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information to end-users, is not compromised.
Consult with senior IT and business leaders regarding information security risks and responsibility in minimizing those risks.
Expectations of the Director of Technical Innovation and Security in the first 12 months:
Lead the technical execution of the integration with Rockwell Collins IT.
Lead the technical execution of the integration for ASES after the sale.
Mange the IT Help Desk, Break Fix and customer support functions.
Identify and integrate new technologies and innovations to improve efficiencies and operational capabilities.
Help identify solutions for the consolidation and migration of multiple data centers.
Draft and implement InfoSec policy and governance.
Oversee and manage InfoSec implementation for customer facing networks.

Qualifications
Required
Experience:
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in the Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Security, or related industry.
Eight or more (8+) years of operational management experience; specifically with technology innovation, networking, network security,and web and PC troubleshooting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and take personal initiative.
Ability to work in an unmanaged environment.
Desired
Experience:
10-12 years operational experience; experience with technology innovation; understanding of ARINC back Office Systems.
The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of ARINC back office systems and corporate applications.
Education or Certification Requirements:
Typically requires Bachelor's Degree in a MIS, IT, Computer Science or related technical field.
Master's degree is strongly preferred.
