Under general supervision, this position will support, manage, maintain, and configure a complex national communications infrastructure. Applicant is expected to be a subject matter expert with a firm grasp of network solutions, functions, technology, and protocols. Our ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsible for configuration and maintenance of Cisco ASA and ASR networking equipment. Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise and data center deployments using Cisco ASA firewalls is essential
Participate as part of project teams in designing, developing and implementing networking technologies for the business
Setup and support IPSec VPN tunnels
Perform packet captures and deep network analysis in order to troubleshoot customer connectivity problems
Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing
Creates and maintains network documentation, including diagrams, white papers, and configuration management
Experience with structured change management processes.
Schedules and performs installations and upgrades in accordance with established CIS policies and procedures
Encourages and actively drives initiatives for improved service quality
Develops and promotes standard operating procedures
Recommends upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment
Provides after-hours maintenance availability and on-call support
Assist in the planning, development, support, and management of local and national IT initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Expert-Level Cisco ASA experience required
Extensive network troubleshooting knowledge
Solid understanding of networking technologies: OSI Model, Switching, IP Routing, IP Subnetting, TCP/IP protocol, VPN's, DNS, Router ACL's, and NAT
Demonstrable experience in implementing and troubleshooting firewall rules and NAT on Cisco PIX and ASA Firewalls. Firewall support knowledge must include implementation of various NAT types used in PIX/ASA, firewall virtualization, and firewall hardware failover.
Currently active CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional) certification or expiration within past 1 year desired.
Currently active CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) Security certification or expiration within past 2 years desired
A BA/BS in a technical field of study or comparable experience
Experience in a large scale operations environment supporting customers
Experience and understanding of the telecommunications industry
Willing to work overtime and on-call as necessary to meet organizational needs
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively handle concurrent projects
5+ years hands-on experience in a complex, multi-site LAN\WAN environment
5+ years of experience in IT Operations Support or Engineering

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
