Senior EVM Analyst
position
Overview
The Senior EVM Analyst will serve as the EVM team lead, the Lead System Administrator for Primavera Project
manager
, Primavera Timesheets, and Primavera Cost Manager. The Senior EVM Analyst will provide expertise in the operation and maintenance of the client's ERP EVM system and ensure the system follows EVM best practices. Responsible to provide guidance in the proper use of the tools, ensure data integrity, document and maintain clear, concise instructions for the Schedulers using the system. Responsibilities include ensuring the integration of the tools, analyzing data transfers, and escalating issues that degrade data quality. The ability to work with MS Access, SQL or Oracle is also desirable.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Generate Cost Performance Reports and work with CAMs to determine drivers for cost and schedule variances and develop mitigation plans
Generate exception reports and determine needed corrections
Conduct analysis of data and develop analytic reports
Ensure the program is compliant with external EVM reporting requirements
Develop responses to external stakeholders related to EVM processes on the program
Work with internal Schedulers, Control Account Managers, other analysts, external contractor support, and management to evaluate current EVM data and recommend process improvements
Provide wInsight training to the CAMs.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have experience with Federal Government program office level EVM implementation.
Technical Skills
Must have knowledge and significant experience with the following software applications: MS Project and Excel; Primavera Project Manager (P6), Time Sheets, and Cost Manager. A minimum of ten (10) years of EVM tool experience is required.
