Outboard Engineer Technician - Now Hiring

Hinckley has been building and servicing America's finest yachts since 1928.

Nine yacht care centers from Maine to Florida complete the Hinckley offering by providing service, refits, transportation and storage for a pinnacle ownership experience.
We are seeking an Experienced Marine Outboard Mechanic/Technician for our Annapolis, Maryland.
The individual must have a thorough knowledge of various outboard motors, troubleshooting, repair, stern drives and outdrives.
The individual must demonstrate the ability to interpret job specifications, instruction manuals, and manufacturer's handbooks.
Must be able to work with customers directly.
The individual must also have a working knowledge of boats' electrical and mechanical systems as well as installing new outboard engines with controls and accessories.
General Accountabilitieso Proficient in various outboard engines such as Mercury, Honda, Evinrude, Suzuki and Yamaha.
o Experience in all areas of sterndrive and outboard repair and maintenance.
o Experience in electrical diagnosis.
o Willingness to work with others.
o Some travel within the local area.
o Clean and maintain all equipment as required.
o Troubleshoot problems with all equipment as it arises.
o Will work with other mechanical systems within mechanical shop as needed.
o Ability to work any assigned shift and ability to work assigned overtime.
o Willing and able to educate themselves with OEM technical training/requirements.
o Ability and willingness to flex to any position in the department to assist with team goals.
5 years or greater experience required.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Must provide own tools.
Engine specific certifications highly preferred; Oem outboard certification PIeb4d96e8ad15-29952-33560878Salary:
$19 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
