Service Manager -Plumbing Team
Confidential Confidential Annapolis, MD Annapolis, MD Full-time Full-time $80,000 - $90,000 a year $80,000 - $90,000 a year 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago Responsibilities The Service Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Service Department while ensuring that both internal and external customers receive a high level of customer service throughout their experience with the Service Department.
Lead the recruiting and hiring process for service technicians Conduct performance reviews with direct reports.
Optimize employee engagement and development for the Service Department Assess and adjust manpower allocation for the day relative to customer demand and business needs.
Determine actions needed to hit daily/weekly/monthly goal.
Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team's objectives and sales goals are met.
Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, payroll tasks, and tracking inventory Helping to train new employees in company procedures.
Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
Assisting in sales training.
Drive Revenue.
Qualifications 5-7 years of direct management experience in the plumbing industry, or have been a successful residential service technician with experience in other residential/consumer services (HVAC, Pest Control, Roofing, Landscaping, etc.
) Demonstrate leadership skills to mobilize and drive a team to achieve set goals (revenue, efficiency, and customer service) Ability to solve complex problems and develop an appropriate action plan.
Ability to work independently with little supervision; must be a self-starter.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and high-volume environment.
