Job Description:
Are you looking to further sharpen your cloud analytic development skills? If you're hungry to leverage your existing cloud expertise, develop new cloud-based capabilities, and learn from our existing cloud subject matter experts or share your expertise with a growing team, we have the right upcoming position for you!We are looking for cloud-savvy developers to join our team on an upcoming large cyber focused program.
Once the work starts, you'll get to rapidly build and deploy new cloud-based capabilities that will be immediately used by the operational teams to make a difference in improving our nation's security.
This is true Agile development, working side by side with mission analysts, developing new capabilities (not just maintaining or productizing other's work), passing them directly to operational users to help execute their mission, and where you get to witness the mission successes of your developed capabilities.

Qualifications:
An AS or higher in Computer Science or an equivalent field Experience in object-oriented development in at least one high level language, such as C, C++, or Java.
Experience writing, testing, deploying, and integrating code, applications, COTS and GOTS software into existing environments.
Experience with the Java map reduce framework.
Daily tasking will include:
Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data analytics based upon documented requirements and test results.
Work directly with analysts to refine and prioritize requirements.
Directly contributes to all stages of back-end processing, analyzing, and indexing.
Resolve software problem reports.
Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
Various levels of experience across the following are desired:
Experience with requirement management, refinement, prioritization, scoping, etc.
Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other ticketing tools Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban Experience developing software/code documentation.
Ability to work alongside analysts to ensure solution is what they need, and it fits into their workflow seamlessly.
Ability to work with a group or independently depending on the current tasking and skillset needed.
Willing and able to learn new technology quickly and independently to ensure our analysts are receiving the best solutions.
Experience upgrading systems or software, either independently or as part of an entire environment modernization effort.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
