Systems Engineer (TS/SCI + Polygraph)

Description As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will serve as a site lead performing remote maintenance and refresh efforts for 8 geographically dispersed sites.
You will travel to each site at least once a year for in-person maintenance and upgrade activities.
In addition, you will have daily interaction with partner entities to ensure systems are properly integrated, functional, and operating correctly.
You will be expected to engage SMEs, perform data validation once software is deployed, submit DMRs for data flow path problems/fixes, configure new software updates, and perform troubleshooting.
Experience Requirements:
The Systems Engineer must be experienced in NiFi and Linux.
The Engineer will need experience in Linux and Ciena to support with system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, configuration of telecom network and software packages.
Needs knowledge of cables and collection systems and how they work, as well as understand data flow.
The Systems Engineer Level 1 shall meet the following years of experience and educational requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Seven (7) years' experience as a systems engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
