Job SummaryThe Project Scheduler will be instrumental in the continued success of the company by working closely with program managers and leaders to establish and maintain project/program schedules.
The selected candidate will possess very strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
Job ResponsibilitiesHelp develop and maintain Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract.
Create project schedules for standard projects and large complex programs, taking all customer requirements and available resources into consideration during developmentAssist with developing and maintaining an integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) resource-loaded schedule to help forecast resources for leaders.
Work with the B/D teams to create and submit ROM schedules for proposal efforts.
Develop schedules that are cost-loaded to better predict cash flow and streamline billingsPerform what-if schedule scenarios, advanced schedule analysis, and variance analysis reports.
Analyze variances in schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variances to the Project/Program Manager.
Analyze schedules, review delays, and propose schedule recovery alternatives if neededAssist with the Time Impact Analysis submission process.
Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule and progress including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and testing.
Facilitate and participate in the internal and external schedule review meetings.
Work in collaboration with project teams to develop consistency of the project scheduling approach and to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting.
Responsible for troubleshooting and monitoring potential scheduling problemsDefining and implementing schedule software (Primavera P6) management processes and procedures.
Provide support as needed for any schedule analysis and report.
Participate in Change Order processes to review impacts as well as make necessary adjustments to scheduling data for new/changing scopes.
Communicates with management and personnel from across the division.
Serves as an expert on call and prime contact to management on matters relating to the scheduling discipline.
Basic QualificationsScheduling:
5 years P6 (Preferred)Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.

years of scheduling experienceProven organizational, project management, and leadership skillsAbove average math, writing, reading, and good communication skillsStrategic thinker, strong analytical skillsConstruction background (Preferred)Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experiencePotential Travel 15%Additional Notes:
This has the potential to be a high visibility position for the right candidate.
This is a fast-growing group, and the candidate will be involved in creating policies and procedures.
Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, as they will be speaking with upper-level managers, engineers, as well as project managers.
Being able to talk on their level is key.
Any experience speaking with upper-level managers is a plus.
Candidate must be a super user of Primavera.
The candidate will have the opportunity to help coach staff members on the functionalities/best practices of the Primavera tool.
Construction background would be helpful but is not required.
Microsoft project experience is a plusPerform all aspects of Earned Value Management and analysisCollect and analyze cost performance data reports in order to identify cost, schedule, and performance trends and deviations and recommend corrective action.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
