The Senior Electrical Engineer performs Radio Frequency and Electrical Engineering assignments of moderate complexity.
Responsible for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects in support of the design, development, and testing of radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products.
Includes antenna design, both reflector and array systems, frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers.
Under limited supervision, works directly with senior technical personnel and project managers in the planning and execution of technical activities on projects related to system and technical product development.
Employs existing guidelines and instructions, guidance from higher-level engineers, experience, and independent judgment to plan and accomplish task objectives.
Assignments may require the development of improvements to current techniques and procedures.
The Senior Electrical Engineer is a key member of the program team and works directly with the Program Managers to ensure government sponsor's requirements and deadlines are met.
They will have significant interface with Program/Project Managers, government personnel, and other functional organizations.

Come support our work with the DoD, and join a world class team of ground breaking scientists and engineers!Details below!Essential Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms radio frequency engineering testing and measurements in support of electromagnetic compatibility assessments for space and terrestrial systemsDuties will include planning, developing, executing, analyzing, and documenting measurements involving spectrum-dependent systems and associated componentsExamples include, but are not limited to:
antenna pattern and frequency response measurements; active and passive component characterization; electromagnetic environment monitoring; bench testing; and diagnosing and resolving radio frequency interference problemsProvides some technical guidance and oversight to entry level technical staff and may act as a technical lead for limited aspects of a project.
Has some independent interaction with customers and provides input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables under guidance of more senior technical personnel.
Provides input and support to intra-organizational proposal development efforts.
May have some exposure to and provide some input to inter-organizational technical and business development activities.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 to 4 years relevant work experience.
Degree(s) must be in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics or a related disciplineIn some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 15 years of applicable work experience.
Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey dataBackground in one or more of the following:
electromagnetic compatibility/radio frequency interference (RFI) testing and analysis, RF measurements & testing, antenna systems, radiation hazard assessments, terrestrial and space communications systemsDemonstrated command of engineering principles, methods, and techniques in RF engineering/spectrum measurements & testingAdvanced knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and softwareEffective customer and organizational level communication, written, presentation and interpersonal skillsPreferred RequirementsKnowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with MATLAB Visualize and ArcGIS preferred but not requiredTS/SCI preferredMasters Degree preferredPhysical RequirementsMay require working in an office or laboratory environment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
