As a Contracts Manager, you will facilitateeffective implementation of contract responsibilities within program objectives and requirements.
Duties include management and administration of company contracts including overseeing proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
More About the Role:
Manages and administers company contracts including overseeing proposal preparation and contract negotiation, working independently with minimal management oversight/supervision.
Works on more complex proposals and contracts.
As contract subject matter expert, advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions, and assists in developing guidance.
Reviews and resolves all issues effecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives.
Provides creative leadership from knowledge of industry best practices and most current developments in contract administration.
Participates in planning and policy development issues.
Researches and recommends contract policies and procedures.
Provides regular reporting to senior management on contract issues.
Participates in creation of procedures and communication material that document contract practices.
Prepares and reviews and/or negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's), Teaming Agreements (TA's) and modifications to contracts to support company objectives.
May assist in the development and maintenance of contract database.
May be responsible for work leadership for lower level employees.
Youll Bring These
Qualifications:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, with additional training in government contracts, and 7-10 years of related (government contract administration) experience.
Active TS/SCI security clearance required with polygraph.
