Rockwell Collins ARINC's Business Operations Business Unit in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst.
In this role, the Sr. Financial Analyst will:
Analyze and report monthly P&L; for our Aviation Services Division, which produces an annual revenue of approximately $132M. He/she will be responsible for the planning & analysis of revenue, overhead analysis, forecasting & variance analysis, and other financial modeling.
Accurately produce the monthly financial close, which includes but is not limited to: preparation of journal entries, cost accruals, and revenue analysis. Provide explanations for variance of actual performance to budget and changes to year end projections.
Provide ongoing analysis of service revenue and costs. Identify any issues and work with appropriate departments to resolve.
Work with Program Management in developing annual budgets.
Deliver monthly review of projects to identify potential EAC or revenue issues. Work with Program Management to resolve any concerns.
Assist the Management team with preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
Provide assistance with special projects and ad hoc analysis, as required.
Continuously improve current processes for budgeting, management reporting, and forecasting for increased efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
Provide backup support for other business areas within the Aviation and Network Services division.

Qualifications
Required
Experience:
Seven (7) or more years of financial analysis or related business experience.
Possess advanced knowledge of excel and other financial analysis tools.
Possess strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Desired
Experience:
Experience with Rockwell Collins ARINC financial systems and budgeting software such as Outlooksoft and Costpoint.
Ability to work with various levels of management.
Aviation industry experience.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
