ARINC Direct-Business Aviation Flight Support Services in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Sr. System Engineer to support the ARINC Direct Mobile Development team located in Annapolis, Maryland. Be part of a revolution in business aviation!
ARINC Direct provides best-in-class flight-support and international-handling services for business jets. The Sr. System Engineer will be focused on agile development and building upon the successful iPad app, along with additional new apps on multiple mobile platforms.
This System Engineer will support the program by:
Developing and analyzing requirements.
Documenting operational scenarios.
Designing interfaces between systems.
Designing system architecture.
Managing a Beta program.

Qualifications
Required Experience
Possess ten (10) or more years of system engineering experience including:
Implementing changes and upgrades to complex systems.
Integrating systems with complex external systems operated by external companies or agencies.
Analyzing performance of complex systems.
Managing customer requirements.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Working in a highly integrated team environment.
Desired
Experience:
Experience with aeronautical communication, air traffic management, or airline operations.
Aviation Background.
Experience in designing complex mobile applications.
Education or Certification requirements:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems.
Desired: Master's degree in relevant technical field.
